This illustration commission conveys an airplane metaphor. I illustrated a big colourful image as well as smaller and more sketchy drawings to portray a feeling of security and confinement, trust and fear, hope and unease. I concentrated on the guideline of “being one’s own captain”, of having the power to make decisions and building confidence.
